This project brought us to paradise in 2005. It is custom designed to blend the Midwest with island living. This 4000 square foot home has a master bedroom wing (with its own entrance and Jacuzzi), a large kitchen for entertaining with an adjacent eating area, a large living room and a media room. Upstairs is a loft/den. During the rough-in phase, we saw the potential to maximize use of the vaulted roof design. This resulted in a wonderful retreat that is now used as an office/reading/sleeping area. The centralized lanai is accessible from all the main living areas. The roof is a true “bell” shape with custom “eyebrow” window accents which bring additional light into the home. A polymerized concrete product called Grail Coat is the exterior wall finish. It is a premium exterior coating that stands up well to the harsh ocean-front environment. The two car garage provides storage and laundry facilities away from the main living area, and an outside shower for use after returning home from the beach.

2 Perfect Construction built our dream home in Anahola, Kauai six years ago. Having worked with Mike and Dwight for years on other building projects, I would not have entrusted this important project to any other company. The quality of their work is unmatchable and their level of dedication and honesty–impeccable. Dwight and Mike are very skilled in excavation, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, concrete, structural work, painting/staining and finish carpentry. They do not have the typical trade union mentality, and they are not on “island time.” Their work always comes first. You won’t ever find a more dependable and quality oriented company any where around. Thank you Dwight and Mike for making our dream become a reality!
